I'm not willing to pay silly money for an original and I'm not interested in the Sundazed mono. So I suppose the question goes: Which of the recent stereo reissues should I get?

McGinnis III like this. I wasn't referring to any particular edition as I'm not familar with any. I just figured that an original would be expensive. I heard good things about the EMI edition but also there's a Friday edition more widely available but I don't know about the sound.

I also had a yellow Epic edition as a kid and it seemed the black was better. I ended up getting the recent stereo reissue and its better than both but not by much. They have the silver and black 'two box' label, LP to 70s UK Beatles pressings, which are highly regarded on this forum. EMI's pressing quality was consistently great.
